PT&E’s Second Annual Pickleball Tournament – May 16-18!
PT&E is more than just a place to play pickleball—we are a social impact racquet center dedicated to fostering lifelong well-being through play, learning, and connection. Our Second Annual Pickleball Tournament is not only a chance to showcase your skills but also an opportunity to support equity in sports, education, and community programs that enhance lives.
At PT&E, we envision a Portland where people of all ages, identities, abilities, and backgrounds have equitable access to racquet sports, education, and critical resources. This tournament is a key fundraiser supporting our tuition-free summer program, which provides 9 weeks of academic, athletic, and character-building experiences for K-8 students.
100% of the revenue from this tournament goes directly back into our nonprofit programs, ensuring that PT&E remains a place where everyone has the opportunity to grow, learn, and belong. Our goal is to raise $20,000 through entry fees, donations, and sponsorships—funding that directly impacts kids and strengthens our community.
Get ready for an exciting three-day competition at PT&E’s Second Annual Pickleball Tournament. This year, we are proud to introduce a gender-free tournament structure, ensuring that matchups are based on skill level and age for a fair and competitive experience.
Tournament Format:
Each day will feature four groups of 14 teams each.
Play will begin with a round-robin format, ensuring all teams get ample court time.
Every team will advance to the single-elimination medal round.
Age brackets will be finalized after registration closes.
Player Guidelines
Self-rating required – players should register in their appropriate skill group
Fair competition matters – the Tournament Director may adjust placements if needed
Awards & Entry Fee
Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each division
Entry Fee: $100 per team – reinforcing PT&E’s commitment to keeping pickleball accessible and affordable

To register for the tournament, click on the link below. Both players for the team must register and pay separately. You will receive confirmation once both players have completed their registration. Registration for the tournament closes on May 10, 2025. Start times will be determined once registration has closed.
